4/12/2024 0 Comments Octave pedal vst for ableton(especially the transposing and doubleing drums thing) Those are some good ideas and I actually do a few of them sometimes. Is the closest Ive come to finding the download.I suppose I"ll keep searching through more than one page of google search results. Im having some trouble downloading it from the links that my google search gives. So maybe you will say you wanna use the tracking glitches as a effect.in that case, just buy an MXR Blue box or similar. Plus, there is always a compromise because you have to rely on the tracking quality or delay in the tracking. Maybe automating a fade of the mud in & out quickly would be ok. IMO, even when used unconventionally (drums, noises, etc) the Logic plugin just made everything I tried it on turn to mud. It does the job but you're stuck with the bass tone they give you which generally is just OK. While, the result is a bit better than my example, the sub-bass plugins are kinda like putting your signal through a boss octave pedal. But, just in case you do just want to double something, the results are much better than a subbass plugin if you just option-click-drag the midi clip onto another track, pull the midi notes down an octave or 2 and pull up another patch and double it. Yes, I know what you mean about unconventional uses for it. Then it sounds more defined and detailed, timing of the sub-octave will be better, and ironically it's deeper than any of the the "subbass" plugins I've tried. Not necessarily just a bassline, but any sub bass tone you want to make. I mean just use a syntheizer to craft the sub bass notes you wanna produce (Operator or whatever).
